Jim Barber
REGIONAL SALES MANAGER - GREAT LAKES REGION / SOUTHEAST

James began his business career in sales and marketing after graduating from Northern Illinois University in 1968, with a bachelor's degree in finance. During the next 39 years, he held a variety of marketing, purchasing, quality management, general management and executive level positions at small and Fortune 500 industrial manufacturers producing technical components and capital equipment for companies such as Caterpillar, John Deere, Cincinnati Milacron, Ford and General Motors.

His involvement with home building began at an early age, working with his father constructing traditionally designed houses. In the mid 80s, James independently designed and built his own home on Long Island, New York. He has been assisting Woodhouse® with timber frame raisings since 2005.

James and his wife Judy have four children enjoy an active lifestyle at their lake home and in skiing.

Greg Burnshaw
REGIONAL SALES MANAGER - MID-ATLANTIC

Greg has a background in art, construction and interior design, for which he received his bachelor degree from the University of Delaware in 1987. After serving as an army officer in Europe, he returned and worked in several design and sales positions before joining Woodhouse® in 1993. At Woodhouse®, he has held key positions involving national sales and project coordination. Greg is candid and maintains a genuine integrity in his association with his long list of satisfied homeowners.

Currently, Greg is focused on the Mid Atlantic region (DE, MD, VA, W.Va, NJ and PA) where he works with clients directly and manages a builder/dealer network. His passion for aesthetics coupled with his enthusiasm for timber frame construction makes him an asset to your building experience.

Todd Davey
PURCHASING MANAGER

Todd has a diverse background that seems custom tailored to fit his current position at Woodhouse®. He has 18 years experience in the automotive industry where he spent the later years managing the Service Department. Customer service being a priority at all times. Looking for a change, he stepped out to become self employed as a general contractor in the local residential market. He often complimented his projects by hand crafting custom furniture for his clients, a passion that he has pursued for the last 20 years. His diverse background, attention to detail, and unparalleled organization skills makes him a perfect fit for the Purchasing Manager position. He is responsible for procuring all materials, maintaining inventory, coordinating deliveries and research of new materials.

While not at Woodhouse®, Todd enjoys spending time with his wife Andrea and two young daughters Abby and Alison. When the time allows, he fabricates furniture for their home.

Mary Dimouro
Financial Manager

Mary joined Woodhouse in February, 2011, and although she is new to the building industry she is not new to the needs of a growing company. Mary received her bachelor’s degree from Houghton College and has held several management positions in corporate and municipal accounting, as well as in subcontract administration, over a lengthy career. Because of her interest in the beauty and diversity of homes, (which stems from her father who was a master carpenter), Mary also enjoyed a short stint as a real estate agent. Now that she has an office in a beautiful, timberframe home, she is “quite happy and content” to be in the building industry. When not working, Mary and her husband enjoy time with family and friends.

Deborah Farr
Office Manager

Debbie has a background in retail sales, operating a chain of convenience stores for over 13 years. Debbie joined Woodhouse® in 2004 and, as office manager, is responsible for customer service, coordinating our builder-dealer administration, and our safety program. She enjoys being the voice on the other end of the line when potential clients call in and talk with her about their dream home before directing them to their Regional Sales Manager.

Debbie enjoys spending time with her family, outdoor activities such as boating, hiking or just sitting down and reading a Danielle Steel novel. Debbie's personality, dedication, and organizational skills play a huge role in the day-to-day operations here at Woodhouse®.

Steve Keller
COMPANY FOUNDER & CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Currently residing in Colorado with his teenage daughter Hali, Steve works from his home as well as the occasional commute to the Woodhouse offices in Pennsylvania. An entrepreneur at heart, Steve has parlayed his interests in construction into the creation of Woodhouse and Murus. With a BFA in Sculpture, one-and-a-third tours in Vietnam, some graduate work in ceramics, a year of substitute teaching and a journeyman’s experience in carpentry, Steve Keller and his first business partner founded Solar Northern in 1978 as a passive solar design company. This was Steve’s stepping stone to the founding of Woodhouse in 1980 and then The Murus Company in 1987.

Steve won’t deny that in the process of “trying to find himself” (his description is much more graphic) and ideally, a job wherein he could express his creativity and into which he could pour his values, he was incredibly fortunate to have started a timber frame company. Steve’s personal owner’s manual clearly states that his core strength is unfolding new business concepts. Crafting his companies to deliver the very best services and products possible, he has imbued Woodhouse with passionate idealism that really delivers for all of our clients and helps to make it a great place to work.

Otherwise you are likely to find Steve on the coast of Maine or in a sailboat heading to some new port. He has also recently rediscovered surfing and a childhood favorite, Vero Beach Florida. Although clients who own sailboats are not guaranteed a discount if you invite Steve along for a sail (he’s entertaining company), you will certainly benefit for his 30 plus years of timber frame and SIP experience.

Todd Mahosky
OPERATIONS MANAGER

Todd started at Woodhouse® in 1999 after graduating from Penn State where he received a BS in both physics and civil engineering. He originally started as a draftsman while still working in the coal mine that funded his college tuition.

Originally, Todd's mindset was that his time at Woodhouse® would only be temporary until he could decide on the first real step of his career path. Since then Todd has worked in several different areas of Woodhouse® including estimating, purchasing, and for 7 years as the leader of the entire design team. Todd's temporary intentions soon changed as he dove into the challenges and was adopted by the Woodhouse® family. His current focus is to improve the manufacturing process and coordinate our deliveries throughout all aspects of the company as the operations manager. Outside of Woodhouse® Todd likes to spend time with his wife Sarah, and his family and friends. He loves the outdoors and is a dedicated Archery hunter.

Shawn Nohava
REGIONAL SALES MANAGER - WEST

Shawn was on construction job sites as far back as he can remember. After very early experiences in construction with his father and uncle, Shawn expanded his horizons to several other fields. He spent most of his 20's in sales and service. Then he switched gears and created his own wellness business in Boulder, Colorado. After seven years in that field, Shawn obtained his broker's real estate license and specialized in residential sales in Boulder County.

In joining Woodhouse®, Shawn has come full circle—he is back to an industry he loves. When Shawn met the Woodhouse® team he automatically sensed the camaraderie and support that they offer their clients and team members. He will draw on his sales, business, and real estate experiences to contribute to the success of Woodhouse®.

During his free time Shawn likes to cross country ski, bike, hike with his dogs, swim, and engage in just about any activity that works up a sweat.

Charles Peck
ARCHITECT

Since the age of 17, Charles has been involved continuously with architecture, whether by attending college or working within the industry. In 1988, upon receipt of a bachelors of science degree in architecture from Florida A+M University, Charles started his first architectural position, working with a commercial architectural firm. Over the course of the next several years, Charles advanced in his commercial architectural career, assuming project manager roles for large commercial projects at several notable architectural firms in Florida. In 1995, Charles transitioned to residential architecture, where he honed his residential design skills while managing the architecture departments for the Florida offices of well known home builders Arthur Rutenberg Homes, and Standard Pacific Homes. To better enable him in the management of architectural and home building businesses, Charles later obtained masters degrees in business administration and information sciences, both from the University of South Florida.

Upon discovering the elegance, grandeur, and natural beauty of timber frame homes, Charles found a new passion, and since 2008 has been the Woodhouse® architect, adding his flair to Woodhouse® design by drawing upon his extensive residential design experience.

Charles is an energetic individual with a focus on quality, aesthetic design value, and client rapport and support. Always easy to talk to, Charles enjoys participating with everyone involved in the design and construction process. Charles and his wife Jennifer have been an inseparable team for over 14 years and through adoption are seeking to add children to that team.

Patrick Seaman
PRESIDENT & GENERAL MANAGER

After "doing the corporate thing" (several senior executive positions at a Fortune 500 and smaller industrial manufacturers), Pat and his family decided to begin doing something they actually enjoyed. A 30-year acquaintance of Steve Keller, the company's founder, Pat joined Woodhouse® in 2003 and worked as a regional sales manager in order to see firsthand how the Woodhouse® organization supported its clients. He became an owner, the president and general manager in 2004 and subsequently has cheered the entire Woodhouse® team along a path of continuous improvement and aggressive growth. Pat also blogs about Timber Frame Home building in our Timber Frame Blogger blog.

Pat lives in a recently completed SmartWood™ home (a modified version of the Mountainview design which is available for a personal tour) with his wife Tracy and assorted menagerie of children, dogs, cats, and birds. His home is located in the Finger Lakes region of New York state about one hour north of the Woodhouse® campus.

Lacy Stocum
MARKETING SPECIALIST

Lacy joined Woodhouse in June of 2011, fresh out of college, and is responsible for much of the online marketing at Woodhouse. Lacy received her bachelor's degree in Public Relations and Organizational Communication from Mansfield University. She enjoys updating our social media, blogging for Woodhouse, and creating our quarterly newsletter. She also has a passion for creating visual marketing material. When she began working for Woodhouse, she "couldn't believe how lucky she was to work in such a beautiful setting" in the corporate office/show home. When not working, Lacy enjoys an active lifestyle of traveling, cooking, and of course, shopping.

Glenn Trudell
REGIONAL SALES MANAGER - NORTH EAST

Glenn joined the Woodhouse® family in 2008. He, his wife Lynn, and their three children recently returned to the United States, having lived abroad in Italy for the last three years on Glenn's twilight tour to his Navy career. They were drawn to the Finger Lakes region of New York by the temptation to build a four season vacation home that they could live in year round. Growing up Glenn spent his vacations at his family lakeside cabin in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and he has been sailing around the world for the last twenty three years in anticipation of providing the same memories for his kids.

Although Glenn spent most of his career as a photographer for the Navy, he grew up in a family of tradesmen and has always felt at home around construction sites. His love of the outdoors and the craftsmanship of timber frame homes makes his position at Woodhouse® "a perfect fit" for his transition to a new and exciting career. We believe that his unique perspective from his travels along with his ability to interact well with others is a pretty good fit for our company as well as the clients we serve.
